Getting Involved

How Can I Be a Part of the SDA Abuse Response Network?

  • Subscribe to our newsletter:  Creating a Caring Response.
  • Share the news. Please help us spread the word! Make our newsletter available in your local church. Forward it to a friend. You can help us to make others aware of the problem of abuse.
  • Pray. There are a number of barriers that come with  addressing abuse in the church. Pray that God will guide in facing these obstacles and that the Holy Spirit will prepare hearts to receive a message of truth, hope, and healing.
  • Donate. We need financial support. The ongoing work of training local churches to address abuse does create expenses. Please give to make a difference. A tax-deductible contribution may be made to the Institute for the Prevention of Addictions (designate SDA Abuse Response), 6406 Westwood, Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI 49104.
    Thank you!

  1. Hi my name is Frith. I am a baptized member of the Seventh-Day Church so is my husban Mark , he is also a Decon, youth leader and sorry can’t think of the last one. I am 40 and he is 38. I would like to find out if there is any way could physically get in involved. I currently own a daycare looking after kids from 1 to 3 years old. My husband also currently has his own small business doing home improvements, maintenance work and manufacturing of security steel work. We are prepared to travel any where in SA. We have a 21 year old son. Does your organization offer anything like? I deal a lot with poor moms and their home situations. I look after disadvantages kids who’s moms can’t afford normal daycare fees and who work shifts etc.

    Kind regards
    Frith
